Latin songbird Thalia and her music exec hubby, Tommy Mottola, are putting the final touches on their new, totally renovated Palm Beach mansion. The security-conscious twosome applied for permits for a generator and yard lighting at their Caribbean Road manse. The high-profile couple — Mottola once was Sony Music's grand poobah and Mariah Carey's husband — last month plunked down $6 million for the place, one block east of the Lake Worth Lagoon. They bought it from developer Paul Wittman and several partners, who paid just $2.1 million for it two years ago.
